Detailed description of Lapa Rios / Xandari package itinerary Day 01 ( Arrival-San Jose) Arrival. A representative from Costa Rican Trails will meet you at the airport and provide a private transfer to the Hotel Xandari for your first night in Costa Rica. Overnight at the Hotel Xandari, Ultra Villa. Breakfast included. Day 02 (San Jose – Puerto Jimenez) A representative from Costa Rican Trails will pick you up at your hotel and you will be transferred to san Jose local airport Tobias Bolaños. Take your private charter flight south to Pto. Jiménez. Let’s start your 4 days/3 nights Package. This package includes: RT Charter flight, 03 nights Lapa Rios lodging in a deluxe Bungalow, Full Board & 03 Tours. Overnight at the Hotel Lapa Ríos, Deluxe bungalow, all meals included Day 03 (Rainforest Waterfalls Hike - Horseback Riding) After breakfast, hike up and down through virgin rainforest to pristine waterfalls and splash back along the Carbonera River. A rain forest experience with adventurous hiking. Difficult, but great fun. For all hardy hikers looking for a challenge (wet walking and some climbing). Duration: 3 hrs. Return for lunch at the lodge. Afternoon Horseback riding Gentle but responsive horses follow a forest through secondary and virgin jungle and finish galloping on the beach. Duration: 2 - 3 hrs. Overnight at the Hotel Lapa Ríos, deluxe bungalow, all meals included Day 04 (The Osa Trail Jungle Experience) The complete rainforest experience! This tour descends through the reserve’s most remote and pristine forest. The 4 km. trail features many different types of rainforest vegetation, and offers you the best opportunity to see something rare. Duration: 3-4 hrs. Afternoon free to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Overnight at the Hotel Lapa Ríos, deluxe bungalow, all meals included Day 05 (Lapa Rios – San José) Early in the morning, you’ll be transferred to Pto. Jiménez local airstrip.
